Anti-spam

So I clicked "Yes" on the word verification button, and it said I had to republish the blog to change it. I don't know exactly what my computer would to to it if I tried, so one of you should probably do it.

Maybe this will get rid of the spam, finally. t3h 3v!l. . .

And somehow colleges have gotten ahold of my email address. My mom is strangely happy, thinking it means that colleges are coming to me instead of me coming to them. I forsee more spam in the inbox, but oh well. . .

*anger*

I loathe and despise Mr. Watterson.

He's making us enter a writing contest. It is not an option. We are being FORCED to write an essay or a short story for a TEST GRADE. He will then look at all the entries, choose the best, enter them in the state writing contest, and then take all the credit for it if one of them wins.

And the worst part about it is if he were confronted, he would say he was doing it for our benefit, that if he didn't make it a requirement no one would enter and no one would get a scholarship, and any rewards he gets are secondary to the $5000 first prize in the short story wins. Never mind that he receives $2000 if one of his students wins. Never mind that his name is put directly under that of the winner. Never mind that he arranges interviews and articles with the paper as the student's teacher. Never mind that he credits himself for their triumphs. Never mind that the only involvement he has in the process is assigning the essay/story and then taking it up. This is done purely for the students.

Did I mention that I loathe and despise Mr. Watterson? From the deepest depths of my heart?
