I'm Back!

And I'm trying to adjust to being home again. My mind has kind of pushed everything from Governor's School into the background, probably because if I think about it too much I'll start to miss it, and then I'll probably erupt. It was most definitely the best experience of my life, and it's hard to describe. It's something you just have to do to understand.

But anyway. I have officially completed the 42nd session of Governor's School!

And our summerbooks were entitled "The Hitchhiker's Guide to GSE 2005".

Counting the hours. . .

And I actually get a copy, although it won't be until 1 in the afternoon (curse the stupid sign-out system!), and I can read it, and I can post and join in all of the lovely spoiler comments, and yay!

And we so need to have a masquerade ball. It is the best.

Save meeee...

My sister has a friend over. Whenever she does, she thinks she has to explore new levels of cruelty in order to impress her friends, although it just scares them. In one day, I have been verbally attacked, pushed, blamed for the breaking of her scooter (which happened months ago), told off for renting videos she doesn't like, attacked for opening the door to my room to cool off, and told that I am not nice enough to people and need to stop telling her to stop.

Unfortunately, her friend is here for a little over one more day and two more nights.

Life sucks.

I am an Alpha.

I love to play. I hate to work. The number 3 is lucky to me. If I see three birds, I feel lucky. If I see three trees together, I feel lucky. If I get three brownies, I feel lucky. If I find three pennies, I feel - all together now - lucky. I live in Alphaland with all my fellow Alphas. I have lived in Alphaland all my life. In Alphaland we like to play a game called "Rafa Rafa". In this game, one Alpha approaches another Alpha and stomps three times. If the other Alpha wants to play, they grasp the first Alpha's upper arm. Then, they hide a stone in their hand behind their back. The first Alpha tries to guess which hand does not have the stone. If they are wrong, they must back away quickly. The stone is unlucky. If they are right, they stomp three more times and guess again. If they are right a second time, they stomp and guess again. If they are right for three times in a row, they are extremely lucky. They shout, "Rafa, Rafa!" Then everyone else comes over to them and touches them three times with three fingers and shouts, "Rafa, Rafa!" This way, they can share the luck.

This is weird, I know.

Welcome to Area 3.
